I never really had a bed time story when I was younger. I used to listen to music or my dad would lay with me and sing a song from his child hood when I was younger. Or I would just go mto sleep without anything.

When I was younger, I really enjoyed the book, The Giant Jam Sandwich by John Vernon Lord and Janet Burroway. I thought this book was sort of funny and silly. The book made me smile when I was younger. I'd tried to remember the story to say it with my mom or dad, but I usually ended up just listening. The Giat Jam Sandwich was my one of my favorite bedtime stories and it will probably always be.

My favorite book when I was younger my favorite book was "Go Dog Go." This book was about a whole bunch of dogs going to a big dog party. The hole book was saying things like big dogs small dogs, white dogs black dogs, fast dogs and it would show pictures of dogs driving cars. It had dogs in tree's dogs underwater dogs sleeping. At the end of the book it showed all the dogs at the big dog party.

When I was younger, my favorite story was the "Cat in the Hat". I liked it because it had words that rhyme. It just amused me very much. It also made me happy whenever I would hear the story. Dr. Suess is a genius.

When I was younger my favorite bedtime story was "The Napping House". I guess I liked when my mom would read it with different tones in her voice. When I think back to when my parents read me a bedtime story I never liked listening to the words, I only liked the pictures. They looked so colorful and vivid. Now when I pick up "The Napping House" I actually read the words like I am supposed to. All in all, I still prefer the pictures.

My favorite story when I was little was a chapter book called Miko. I can't remember who it is by but my dad and I used to read it so much, and I just loved it. It was about Eskimos, princesses, guards, and the mean hunter and his dogs. We would take it out every night and take turns reading the pages out loud. I'm not quite sure what it was about it that I loved so much. I think most of it was just me spending time with my dad that I could look forward to every night. The story if I remember correctly was actually pretty well written. It was very interesting and left me wanting to read more every time. I remember my dad would be just as happy as I was when it was time for reading, which made every night more special when I was younger. I loved that book very much and I still look back over at the book and read it sometimes remembering all of the times I've had with the book.

My favorite bedtime story was goodnight moon. I haven’t read it in a long time though. In fact, I couldn’t even remember that I liked this book until asking my mom. Anyway, I think I liked this book a lot was because it was short and simple. Also the main character was the age I was back then. Also I liked that the kid was talking to something like the moon, making it seem that something as small as a human be equal to the moon. Also I was a very curious child so I was naturally fascinated by space.

One of my favorite books when I was younger was Dinner at the Panda Palace. It was about a restaurant that was very busy one night, but the panda managed to seat every person that came in. One reason I think I liked this book so much was that it had a lot of animals, and I loved animals at that time. I also think I liked how kind the panda in the book was to everyone. He was also very happy, and that made me happy. This book rhymed, and I loved rhyming books because they were like a song. This book was just very happy and made you happy.

My favorite story when I was little was “The Cow That Jumped over the Moon”. This was one of my favorites because it had animals in it that danced and sang songs. I was very easily entertained with this song; also my sister had a blanket with the story on it. I still like it a little, but not as much as I used to.

My favorite story is Sammy the Seal by Syd Hoff. I loved this story because it was about a silly seal who wanted to be a human. He soon realizes that he likes being a seal. I thought it was a cute and clever book. When I was younger Sammy the Seal was the only book I could read!

My favorite story as a young child was Where the Wild Things Are. I loved that story because I liked looking at the pictures of the monsters. I also liked how Max always plays tricks (unfortunately the tricks were not a good influence). I also liked the costume that Max dresses up in. For whatever reason, according to my mom, I really liked the ending line, " And his supper was still hot", which I quoted at many random times ( as a little kid).

My favorite bedtime story was "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" because my mom used to read that to me all the time. It was about a caterpillar who got fat off eating candy. Then he turned into a butterfly. I also like it so much because it showed everything the caterpillar ate. The colors were very vibrant too. I also enjoyed the movie of it.

My favorite bedtime story when I was little was called “I Love You Forever”. I don’t quite remember the author’s name, but I remember enjoying the story every time I heard it. I loved it so much because the topic was really fascinating and my mom and/or dad would read it very swell. It always made me feel good when they told it and that is why I love that story as my favorite so much.

I don’t remember many stories my parents read to me when I was little. I just remember them reading to me. However, I know of my favorite story to look at myself. The book was the Little Mermaid, but not the Disney version. Before I had read the Disney book or watched the movie, I had read this book. To be honest, I liked this version of the story better. The illustrations were beautiful. I remember looking at the pictures and making up stories for them since I couldn’t read the book myself. Unfortunately, I lost the book several years ago, before, or right around, the time my sister was born. I was very upset.

When I was younger my favorite bedtime story was Cinderella. I loved Cinderella because of the whole story line. Like how she dances with the prince and she gets locked up in her room and the two little mice try to rescue her. I thought the book showed you more of Cinderella's personal emotion. In the book it had pictures that were wonderful.

When I was young my favorite bed time story was Officer Buckle and Gloria. I liked it because the dog did funny ticks and it also taught lessons. Which was good; one lesson was wear a helmet. Now I always wear a helmet when riding a bike, skateboard, or scooter. And the book had great pictures which I liked. Those were some reasons why my favorite book was Officer Buckle and Gloria when I was younger.

The story that I really liked as a very young child was Mr. Cookie Baker. It is a pointless book with two characters, no conflict, and no climax or memorable lines. I think I just liked it was colorful, which I think sounds more like the reason a chimpanzee would like a book, but I was only three or four when I liked it, and by the time I could read it a year or two later, it didn't interest me much anymore. Another book I liked was Granny and the Pirates, which actually had conflict, five or six characters, and a climax. It was funny, too.

My favorite book always was Sam's Sandwich. It's about a boy that's mean to his sister who is trying to make the perfect sandwich. Sam hides bugs and other icky things in the sandwich when she isn't looking. I think I liked it so much because each sandwich item has a pop out creepy-crawly thing.
